Position : Teaching Assistant Location: Richmond Area (Multiple Sites) Salary: £90 to £110 per day The Role Tempest Education, in partnership with Special Educational Needs schools across the Richmond area, we are offering a rewarding opportunity for a Teaching Assistant. You will support learners aged 4-19 with severe or profound and multiple learning disabilities (SLD/PMLD), many of whom have a co-diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC). This role involves working at various sites, providing you with a diverse and enriching experience. About You The successful candidate will: Have experience working with children and young people (experience with SLD/PMLD/ASC is an advantage). Possess strong communication and numeracy skills. Exhibit a creative, enthusiastic, imaginative, and caring approach to working with children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. Hold high expectations for learner’s achievements, particularly in communication, independence, community inclusion, and behaviour.
