The School are looking to appoint the Teaching Assistant as soon as possible. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and SEN staff to provide personalised support for students with SEN, ensuring they receive the assistance they need to thrive in their education.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in the implementation of personalised learning plans for SEN students
  • Offering 1:1 and small group support for children with ASD
  • Helping create a nurturing, positive, and inclusive learning environment
  • Supporting classroom activities and adapting resources to meet students' needs
  • Encouraging social, emotional, and academic development
  • Collaborating with teachers, SEN coordinators, and other professionals to deliver targeted interventions

Requirements:

  • An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
  • Minimum 6 months experience within a School environment
