The Role

We are seeking two highly experienced specialist tutors to provide 1:1 support for siblings (aged 6 & 7) in the Newark and Sherwood area. This role focuses on delivering a heavily adapted, play-based, and sensory-led curriculum. The goal is for each tutor to build a strong, trusted relationship with one child at home before transitioning into community-based learning.

Key Requirements

  • Communication Specialist: Extensive experience with SALT strategies for non-verbal/pre-verbal learners.
  • Safety & Awareness: Proven experience managing PICA and maintaining a safe environment free of ingestible hazards.
  • Engagement Style: Ability to deliver Early Years/Foundation stage content through sensory exploration.
  • Transition Support: Skilled at moving learning from the home into the wider community once rapport is established.
