Role Overview

The Repairs Scheduler will support a housing repairs service by coordinating and scheduling maintenance works. The role requires strong organisational skills, clear communication, and the ability to manage multiple repair requests in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Schedule and coordinate reactive and planned repairs

  • Liaise with tenants to book, confirm, and update appointments

  • Communicate with contractors and operatives to allocate work

  • Monitor job progress and follow up on outstanding repairs

  • Update internal systems accurately and in real time

  • Prioritise works in line with service level agreements

  • Provide a professional and customer-focused service

Essential Experience & Skills

  • Previous experience in repairs scheduling, maintenance coordination, or housing

  • Strong telephone and customer service skills

  • Ability to manage high volumes of work

  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills

  • Confident using systems and databases

  • Ability to work on site, Monday to Friday
