Part-Time Qualified Art Teacher (SEN) ASAP Start Croydon / Beckenham. Tempest Resourcing is working with a specialist SEN secondary setting in the Croydon / Beckenham area to recruit a part-time, qualified Art Teacher for an immediate start. This role is ideal for a creative and committed Art Teacher who is passionate about supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs in a nurturing and structured environment.
The Role
- Teach engaging and differentiated Art lessons to secondary-aged pupils
- Adapt planning and delivery to meet a range of SEN needs
- Promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation through creativity
- Work closely with support staff and the wider SEN team
The Ideal Candidate
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching Art at secondary level
- SEN / SEMH experience is desirable but not essential
- Calm, resilient, and flexible teaching style
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
