We are urgently looking for a Maths Teacher with SEN experience to join a specialist secondary provision in the L25 area of Liverpool.
The school supports young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and challenging behaviour, so they are looking for a teacher who is confident working with students who may require a more personalised, patient and flexible approach to learning.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
- Strong Maths teaching experience
- Previous experience working with SEN/SEND or SEMH students
- Confidence managing challenging behaviour
- A calm, patient and consistent approach
- Strong behaviour-management skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with young people
- Resilience, flexibility and a genuine passion for supporting students who may have struggled in mainstream education
