About the Role We are seeking a reliable and hardworking School Caretaker to join our team. Key Responsibilities * Opening and closing the school site. * Carrying out basic maintenance and minor repairs. * Ensuring the premises are clean, safe, and secure. * Conducting regular health and safety checks. * Assisting with room setups for school events and activities. * Reporting maintenance issues and liaising with contractors when required. * Monitoring site security and responding to emergencies when necessary. Essential Requirements * Previous experience working as a Caretaker within a school environment. * A valid Enhanced DBS certificate. * Basic maintenance and repair skills. * Good understanding of health and safety practices. * Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively. * Reliable, punctual, and professional approach
