The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 £ per year.

You will be working closely with pupils who have complex needs, which may include:

  • Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
  • Severe or profound learning difficulties
  • Communication and language needs
  • Social, emotional and behavioural needs
  • Physical or medical needs

The role involves providing tailored 1:1 and small group support to help pupils access learning, develop independence and achieve their individual targets. There may be occasions where personal care is required, including supporting pupils with toileting, hygiene, feeding or mobility. Full training and guidance will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support pupils with complex SEN throughout the school day
  • Work collaboratively with the class teacher, SENCo and external professionals
  • Assist with the implementation of EHCP targets
  • Adapt learning activities to meet individual needs
  • Support emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies
  • Promote inclusion, independence and wellbeing

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Have experience working with children with complex SEN (in a school or similar setting)
  • Be patient, nurturing and emotionally resilient
  • Be comfortable supporting personal care needs
  • Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Show a genuine passion for inclusive education
  • Be committed to safeguarding and child protection

Relevant qualifications (e.g. CACHE Level 2/3, Health & Social Care, or similar) are desirable but not essential for the right candidate.
