I'm currently recruiting for a School Nurse to join a specialist school in Kent, with immediate interviews available and a September start. This is a rewarding locum opportunity to become part of an established multidisciplinary team supporting children and young people with complex physical disabilities, medical needs and additional learning needs. You'll play a key role in delivering high-quality nursing care, supporting students with their day-to-day healthcare needs, administering medication, managing care plans and working closely with therapists, education staff and families to ensure the best outcomes for every student. This is an excellent opportunity for a compassionate and proactive nurse looking for a long-term role within a specialist education setting.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse (NMC)
  • Experience working with children or young people is desirable
  • Experience supporting individuals with complex health needs is desirable
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Enhanced DBS (we can put this in process for you)
