We\'re working with a fantastic primary school in Lambeth that is seeking a Senior Administrative, Welfare & Attendance Officer to join their busy front-office team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong experience in school administration, who is confident handling pupil welfare, attendance monitoring, and acting as the school\'s lead first aider. 🏫 About the School This Lambeth primary school is known for its strong community ethos, inclusive values, and commitment to student wellbeing. The school is ideally looking for someone who: Has worked in a school office or similar education setting Understands the importance of safeguarding and confidentiality Is confident using SIMS or another MIS Can take initiative, stay calm under pressure, and engage with families and external agencies professionally 🔧 Key Responsibilities Office Administration: Oversee day-to-day school office operations; support SLT and teaching staff; manage communications and documents. Pupil Records & Admissions: Maintain accurate pupil data using SIMS; manage admissions, transfers, and end-of-year processes. Attendance Monitoring: Track daily attendance; follow up on absences; liaise with families and external agencies; support attendance strategies. First Aid & Welfare: Act as the Lead First Aider; administer first aid and medication; maintain medical records and supplies. Front-of-House Duties: Serve as the first point of contact for parents and visitors; provide a welcoming and professional reception service. School Systems & Reporting: Coordinate census data, school reports, and statutory returns; manage ParentPay or ParentMail communications. Safeguarding & Compliance: Follow safeguarding procedures; maintain confidentiality; report concerns to the DSL. SEN & Inclusion Support: Assist with SEN administrative tasks and monitor the inclusion inbox.
