I am currently recruiting for a Speech & Language Therapist to work with my client in Kent. You will be working in an independent SEN school providing 1:1 sessions. They are looking for someone to work with, and advise, teaching staff with the aim this year to embed therapeutic practice by supporting staff with training and in-class interventions. This is a long-term contract (term-time only) with no end date specified. We are expecting 1 year+.
The Role
- Delivering 1:1 Speech & Language Therapy interventions within an SEN school setting
- Supporting pupils with a range of communication and additional learning needs
- Working closely with teaching staff to embed therapeutic strategies into daily classroom practice
- Providing training, advice, and practical support to school staff
Requirements
- At least 1 year postgraduate experience working within a school environment
- HCPC registered
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Speech & Language Therapy recognised by relevant professional bodies
- Clear DBS (we can put this in process for you)
