Job Title: Part-time Music Teacher Location: Walthamstow, London Contract Type: Ongoing, part-time Start date: September 2025, or sooner We are recruiting on behalf of a welcoming, mainstream 3-form entry primary school in Walthamstow, East London, seeking a passionate and creative Part-Time Music Teacher to join their team. This is a unique opportunity to lead inspiring art lessons across the school – just one day a week. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging music lessons to pupils across EYFS, KS1, and KS2. Foster a love of music through a broad and creative curriculum Support pupils\’ musical development in singing, rhythm, composition, and performance. Contribute to school events such as assemblies, concerts, and celebrations. Play an active role in promoting confidence, creativity, and self-expression through music. Ideal Candidate: A talented individual with a strong background music and a passion for teaching Has experience teaching music to primary-aged children in a school setting Demonstrates enthusiasm, creativity, and a genuine passion for music education. Can engage and inspire pupils of all abilities to develop their musical skills and enjoyment. Is confident leading class and group singing, and comfort using a variety of instruments. Works effectively as part of a collaborative, supportive teaching team.
