Catch Up Academy is seeking a dedicated SEN Tutor to deliver high-quality, personalised learning to children and young people with additional needs.

The Role

You will work 1:1 (or in very small groups) with learners who may have EHCPs, supporting them to re-engage with education and make progress aligned to their individual outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver tailored teaching programmes aligned to EHCP outcomes
  • Adapt lessons to meet a range of SEN, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties
  • Build positive, trusting relationships with students
  • Provide brief session feedback and progress updates

Essential Requirements

  • Experience working with students with SEN
  • Strong understanding of differentiated teaching approaches
  • Reliable, professional, and student-centred
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)

Desirable

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent tutoring experience
  • Experience working outside of mainstream education
