Catch Up Academy is looking for a committed and compassionate 1:1 SEN Tutor to support students in Newcastle with Special Educational Needs (SEN), SEMH, and medical needs.
About the Role:
You will deliver individualised tuition to learners who require a bespoke approach to education, often outside of mainstream school settings. Our students may have SEN, SEMH needs, or be unable to attend school due to medical needs.
Pay:
Β£24 - Β£26 per hour (depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality 1:1 tuition tailored to individual needs
- Support students with SEN, SEMH, or medical needs to access learning
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons

- Build positive, trusting relationships with students and families
Requirements:
- Experience tutoring or teaching students with SEN and/or SEMH (preferred)
- Strong subject knowledge and ability to adapt teaching approaches
- Patient, empathetic, and reliable
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
