An opportunity for an experienced Children's Occupational Therapist to work within Social Care, supporting children with disabilities through remote and home-based assessments. Experienced Occupational Therapy Assistants with substantial experience will also be considered.

Location: North London Hybrid - remote assessments and home visits

Office attendance: 2 days per week (full time) / minimum 1 day per week (part time)

Pay rate: Up to Β£40 per hour (dependent on experience)

Contract: Full time or part time (minimum 3 days per week)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Screen and triage Children's OT referrals
  • Complete remote (telephone/video) and home-based assessments
  • Assess and provide interventions for bathing, seating, manual handling, home safety, and equipment
  • Complete rehousing and housing-related reports
  • Manage a balanced caseload of remote assessments and home visits
  • Work collaboratively with families and multi-disciplinary teams
  • Maintain accurate records and professional reports

Essential Requirements:

  • HCPC registered Occupational Therapist (or experienced OTA)
  • Experience in Children's Social Care, NHS, or school-based OT services
  • Experience assessing children with disabilities in home or community settings
  • Strong assessment, communication, and report-writing skills
