The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.

We are currently recruiting enthusiastic and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) with specialist subject skills to provide PPA cover in welcoming and supportive primary schools in Walthamstow. This is an excellent opportunity for confident HLTAs who are passionate about delivering engaging lessons and supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.

Specialist Areas We Are Looking For:

  • PE & Sports
  • Music
  • Art & Design
  • General Classroom Cover

The Role:

  • Deliver pre-planned lessons during teachers' PPA time
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively
  • Engage and motivate pupils of varying abilities
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff and school leaders
  • Adapt confidently across different year groups and school settings

Requirements:

  • HLTA qualification or equivalent classroom experience
  • Experience working within UK primary schools
  • Strong behaviour management skills
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities
  • A flexible and proactive approach
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
