About the Role
In this predominantly face‑to‑face role, you will carry out on‑site assessments across community and education settings for children and young people with a range of needs, supporting development, independence and participation in everyday activities. The role involves close partnership working with families, schools and multi‑disciplinary professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake face‑to‑face occupational therapy assessments for children and young people
- Provide intervention plans, equipment and recommendations as required
- Work directly with families, schools and partner professionals
- Manage a varied caseload, including complex cases
- Maintain accurate and timely case records
- Contribute to service development and best practice
Essential Requirements
- HCPC registered Occupational Therapist
- Diploma or Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Experience working with children or within Children’s Services
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and safeguarding procedures
- Car driver with access to a vehicle
- Ability to work on‑site and undertake face‑to‑face assessments
