About the Role

In this predominantly face‑to‑face role, you will carry out on‑site assessments across community and education settings for children and young people with a range of needs, supporting development, independence and participation in everyday activities. The role involves close partnership working with families, schools and multi‑disciplinary professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake face‑to‑face occupational therapy assessments for children and young people
  • Provide intervention plans, equipment and recommendations as required
  • Work directly with families, schools and partner professionals
  • Manage a varied caseload, including complex cases
  • Maintain accurate and timely case records
  • Contribute to service development and best practice

Essential Requirements

  • HCPC registered Occupational Therapist
  • Diploma or Degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Experience working with children or within Children’s Services
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and safeguarding procedures
  • Car driver with access to a vehicle
  • Ability to work on‑site and undertake face‑to‑face assessments
