Tempest Resourcing are looking for a committed Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a primary SEND school in Liverpool. This is a rewarding full-time role supporting pupils with a range of additional needs including ASC, complex needs and challenging behaviours.
About the Role
- Full-time position within a specialist SEND setting
- Supporting pupils with a range of needs across KS1/KS2
- Occasional classroom cover, so confidence leading small groups is essential
- Working closely with teachers, therapists and the wider support team
- Helping create a safe, engaging and inclusive learning environment
Requirements
- Level 3 TA qualification or Level 3+ Health & Social Care
- Previous classroom-based experience is essential
- Confident supporting pupils with challenging behaviour and ASC
- Experience in SEND schools or similar environments is highly desirable
- Must have a DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one
