Overview
I am currently recruiting for an Occupational Therapist to work with my client in Tameside. They are looking for an Occupational Therapist with experience of Disabled Facilities Grant applications and Children.
Essential Skills
- To have an in-depth knowledge of relevant children's legislation and housing legislation.
- To have a knowledge of eligibility criteria, policies and procedures for the provision of equipment and recommendation of adaptations and policies and procedures relating to social care, health and housing.
- To have an understanding of technical plans, housing adaptations and specialist disability equipment.
- To have knowledge and skill in Moving and Handling techniques.
The contract is 37 hours per week. £35.00 per hour. This is initially a 12 week contract with the likeliness it will be extended.
Requirements
- At least 2 years postgraduate experience
- HCPC registered
- Recently Community experience
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy recognised by relevant professional bodies.
- Clear DBS (we can put this in process for you)
