I am currently recruiting for an Occupational Therapist to work with my client in Ipswich, Suffolk. This is an initial 6-month contract focused on the proactive completion of reviews and assessments across the Directorate, supporting service delivery and helping to reduce waiting lists.

Main Duties:

  • Providing safe and timely delivery of frontline Occupational Therapy services within the Directorate
  • Supporting triage processes and reducing duplication between health and social care services to help reduce OT waiting lists
  • Supporting external care providers to ensure safe and appropriate moving and handling practices
  • Completing reviews of care packages to ensure best value for Adult Social Care services and effective use of available equipment
  • Reviewing double-handed care packages
  • Reviewing waking night care provision
  • Reviewing packages of care

The contract is 37 hours per week at £35.00 per hour.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years postgraduate experience
  • Car driver
  • HCPC registered
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy recognised by relevant professional bodies
  • Clear DBS (we can put this in process for you)
