I'm currently recruiting for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join my client's Community Team covering West Cornwall, including Camborne, Redruth, Hayle, Helston and Penzance.

This is a community-based role supporting adults with physical health needs, carrying out assessments and helping people remain as independent as possible in their own homes. You'll manage your own caseload, working across a varied geographical area alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team.

The contract is for 12 weeks, starting 31st August, with part-time hours available (to be agreed). Please note, you'll need to be comfortable travelling to visit service users in more remote areas across West Cornwall, including the Lizard Peninsula.

Requirements
  • HCPC registered Occupational Therapist
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy recognised by the relevant professional bodies
  • Minimum 2-3 years' experience working as a Band 6 Occupational Therapist
  • Experience within Physical Health and/or Adult Social Care
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
  • Clear DBS (we can put this in process for you)
