Tempest Resourcing is working with a specialist SEN setting in South London to recruit an experienced and committed Assistant Headteacher for an immediate start.
This is a key leadership role for a practitioner with a strong background in SEMH/SEN education, behaviour leadership, and staff development.
The Role
- Support the senior leadership team in the strategic and day-to-day running of the school
- Lead on behaviour, safeguarding, curriculum, or inclusion (depending on strengths)
- Line manage teaching and support staff
- Promote a positive, trauma-informed school culture
- Contribute to school improvement planning and outcomes
The Ideal Candidate
- QTS and proven leadership experience
- Strong SEN / SEMH background
- Experience in a leadership or middle leadership role
- Confident, calm, and resilient leadership style
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain)
