I am currently recruiting for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join my client’s Community Team covering West Cornwall, including Camborne, Redruth, Hayle, Helston and Penzance. This is a community-based role supporting adults with physical health needs, carrying out assessments and helping people remain as independent as possible in their own homes.
You will manage your own caseload, working across a varied geographical area alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team. The contract is for 12 weeks, starting 31st August, with part-time hours available (to be agreed). Please note, you will need to be comfortable travelling to visit service users in more remote areas across West Cornwall, including the Lizard Peninsula.
Requirements:
- HCPC registered Occupational Therapist
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy recognised by the relevant professional bodies
- Minimum 2-3 years experience working as a Band 6 Occupational Therapist
- Experience within Physical Health and/or Adult Social Care
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Clear DBS (we can put this in process for you)
