I am seeking a high-quality, experienced Year 6 Teacher to join a fantastic primary school for a long-term, part-time position. This role is perfect for a teacher seeking flexibility while maintaining a high impact in a crucial year group. The children at this school are noted for being very well-behaved; however, as this is a Year 6 class, we require a strong practitioner who understands the academic rigour and expectations of the upper Key Stage 2 curriculum.
Schedule:
- Day: Every Tuesday.
- Phase 1 (Immediate - April): 9:30 AM - 4:30 PM.
- Phase 2 (May - July): 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM (Adjusted for the summer term/SATs period).
What We Are Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Proven experience teaching Year 6, with a strong understanding of SATs preparation and assessment.
- Ability to deliver engaging, high-level lessons that challenge and inspire students.
- Excellent classroom management and the ability to hit the ground running from next week.
