You will be managing a varied community caseload across both adults' and children's services, supporting individuals to maximise their independence through high-quality occupational therapy interventions. Your responsibilities will include:
- Completing moving and handling assessments
- Disabled Facilities Grant (DFG) assessments
- Blue Badge assessments
- Recommending appropriate equipment and adaptations
You'll work closely with colleagues and partner agencies to deliver person-centred support across the community. Flexibility around working arrangements is available; however, regular community visits and attendance at team meetings are an essential part of the role.
Requirements:
- At least 1 year's postgraduate experience
- HCPC registered
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy recognised by relevant professional bodies
- Experience working with both adults and children
- Experience completing Moving and Handling, Disabled Facilities Grant (DFG) and Blue Badge assessments
- Up-to-date Moving and Handling training
- Strong team-working skills
- Clear Enhanced DBS with Children's and Adults' Barred Lists (we can put this in process for you)
What's on offer:
- £35.00 per hour
- Full-time
- Flexible working arrangements
- Varied community caseload across adults' and children's services
- Supportive team environment
