I'm currently recruiting for a Band 7 Community Occupational Therapist to join a Community Rehabilitation service in Brent. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established multidisciplinary team delivering short-term rehabilitation to adults within the community. You'll manage your own caseload, carrying out home visits, completing rehabilitation-focused assessments and follow-up interventions, and supporting patients to maximise their independence.
While you'll be managing a caseload of around 55 active patients, the cases are predominantly follow-up rehabilitation work rather than highly complex assessments. The current team are managing these caseloads successfully, making this a realistic and well-supported workload for an experienced community clinician.
Your day will start and finish at the team's main base, where you'll plan your visits, complete documentation and work alongside the wider multidisciplinary team.
Requirements- HCPC registered Occupational Therapist
- Significant NHS community Occupational Therapy experience
- Previous experience managing an autonomous community caseload
- Confident completing community home visits and rehabilitation interventions
- Strong clinical reasoning, documentation and caseload management skills
- Experience working within a multidisciplinary community rehabilitation team
- Full UK driving licence (required)
- Eligible to join the Trust pool car scheme
- £45 per hour
- Monday to Friday 08:30am - 4:30pm
- Community-based role across Brent
- Approximately 4-5 patient visits per day
- Day starts and finishes at the main team base
- Supportive multidisciplinary team
- Immediate start available
