Learning mentor - SEMH in Bolton

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a specialist SEMH secondary school in Bolton for a dedicated Learning Mentor to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis.\\n\\nThis is a rewarding role for someone passionate about supporting young people with social, emotional and mental health needs, helping them overcome barriers to learning and develop positive behaviours, confidence and resilience.\\n\\nThe Role:\\n\\nSupporting students with SEMH needs both in the classroom and through targeted interventions\\n\\nWorking 1:1 and in small groups to support emotional regulation, behaviour and engagement\\n\\nBuilding trusted, consistent relationships with pupils who may present with challenging behaviour\\n\\nSupporting pupils during moments of dysregulation and helping them re-engage with learning\\n\\nImplementing behaviour support strategies and individual plans\\n\\nWorking closely with teachers, pastoral staff and external professionals\\n\\nPromoting positive behaviour, attendance and social development\\n\\nThe Ideal Candidate:\\n\\nDBS on the Update Service (essential)\\n\\nAvailable full time and committed to a long-term placement\\n\\nProven experience supporting young people with SEMH needs\\n\\nCalm, patient and highly resilient in challenging situations\\n\\nConfident managing behaviour and de-escalating conflict\\n\\nStrong communication and relationship-building skills\\n\\nExperience in SEMH schools, PRUs, alternative provision, youth work or care settings is highly desirable\\n\\nWhat's on Offer:\\n\\nFull-time, stable role within a supportive SEMH setting\\n\\nOpportunity to make a genuine, long-term impact on young people's lives\\n\\nOngoing agency support and professional guidance\\n\\nCompetitive daily rate, paid weekly\\n\\nIf you are a committed Learning Mentor looking for a meaningful role within a specialist SEMH secondary environment in Bolton, we would love to hear from you.\\n\\nApply today or contact us to discuss the role in more detail
