We're currently recruiting for a Housing Officer on behalf of an amazing housing provider looking for someone who can manage a general needs patch and build strong relationships with residents. The role will cover all aspects of housing management including tenancy sustainment, ASB, tenancy audits, estate inspections, safeguarding, voids and lettings. You'll be the main point of contact for residents, working to resolve issues, support vulnerable tenants and ensure tenancies remain successful. Key duties include: Carrying out home visits, tenancy audits and estate inspections. Investigating anti-social behaviour and tenancy breaches. Supporting residents with tenancy-related issues and signposting to relevant services. Managing tenancy changes including mutual exchanges, successions and terminations. Working with colleagues to minimise arrears and support income recovery. Letting empty properties and ensuring sustainable tenancies. Identifying and responding to safeguarding concerns. Liaising with external agencies and attending court where required. Supporting resident engagement and assisting with complaint resolution.What we're looking for: Previous experience in a Housing Officer, Neighbourhood Officer or Tenancy Officer role. Good knowledge of housing management and tenancy-related legislation. Experience managing ASB cases and working with vulnerable residents. Strong communication skills and the ability to manage your own caseload.
