We are currently working with a welcoming and supportive secondary school seeking a Behaviour Mentor to join their team. This is a full-time role ideal for someone passionate about supporting young people and helping them reach their full potential.

The Role:

As a Behaviour Mentor, you will work closely with students, staff, and parents to help manage behaviour, build positive relationships, and promote a calm and focused learning environment. You'll be supporting students who may face challenges in mainstream lessons, providing tailored strategies and consistent encouragement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build strong relationships with students and provide 1:1 or small group support
  • Help implement behaviour management strategies in and out of the classroom
  • Support teachers in creating a positive learning environment
  • Encourage students to engage with their learning and develop positive habits
  • Monitor progress and work closely with pastoral and SEN teams

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience working with young people, ideally in a school or similar setting
  • Calm, empathetic, and able to manage challenging situations professionally
  • A good communicator with a positive, proactive attitude
  • Committed to the safeguarding and well-being of students
