A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Trainee or Experienced Paraplanner to join a thriving firm of chartered financial planners who specialise in giving advice on a wide range of financial planning areas such as retirement planning, estate planning, protection both individual and corporate and investments.
You will join a dynamic team who work together to support a large team of busy holistic financial planners., The successful candidate will provide technical support to financial planners by way of fund and provider research and suitability report creation. You will assist the advisers in assessing clients’ needs in the short and long term, assess their attitude to risk and help them to create a suitable financial plan for the future.
Core tasks will involve:

Assessing fact find documentation, attitude to risk questionnaire and advisor proposals, assimilating information to allow a robust financial plan to be put into place.

Exposure to investments, pensions, tax planning and protection cases.

Conducting fund and product provider research, analysing data and making comparisons in relation to investments, pensions and protection.

Creating suitability reports justifying each piece of advice in great detail but in terms that are understandable and clear to the client.
Full training and study support to obtain Diploma in Financial Planning provided, plus opportunity to move into a Financial Adviser role if this is of interest.
This role could suit a recent graduate who has a desire to build a career within financial services., This role would suit a financial planning administrator looking to launch their career into a more technical field or a graduate with a degree in a financial related field, with some work experience.
Candidates will have exceptional work ethic, enthusiasm and good organisational skills. You will also need an ability to communicate effectively and build rapport.
