Paraplanner Responsibilities

Depending on your level of experience, responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting Financial Advisers with research and preparation for client meetings.
  • Conducting product and provider research across pensions, investments and protection.
  • Preparing suitability reports and financial planning documentation.
  • Assisting with cashflow modelling and financial planning analysis.
  • Handling technical queries from advisers and clients.
  • Ensuring work is completed in line with FCA and compliance standards.
  • Liaising closely with administrators, Paraplanners and Advisers to deliver excellent client outcomes.
  • Senior level candidates may also be called upon to mentor junior team members and support technical development within the team.
Paraplanner Requirements:
  • Experience within financial planning, either in administration, technical support or paraplanning.
  • Strong communication skills with a professional and client focused approach.
  • Organised and proactive with strong attention to detail.
  • An interest in financial planning and a desire to continue developing technical knowledge.
  • Diploma qualified or working towards qualifications desirable, although full support will be provided.
  • Senior candidates should possess strong technical knowledge across pensions and investments with experience producing high quality suitability reports.
