We are working with one of the UK’s leading consultancies in healthcare construction project management, supporting the appointment of Project Managers and Senior Project Managers into a growing North West healthcare team.
This is an opportunity to work on major hospital and healthcare schemes across the region, with project values typically ranging from £10 million to £300 million. These are complex, live and technically demanding environments, spanning early-stage planning, pre-construction, procurement, delivery and completion.
The business has an outstanding reputation across the NHS and wider healthcare market, with a strong national track record and recent major programme wins that underline its position as one of the leading names in this space. While this particular role sits outside of the New Hospital Programme, it forms part of a highly credible and growing healthcare team delivering significant local hospital projects across the North West.
You would be joining a well-established team led by a highly regarded Director, with the opportunity to work closely with NHS Trusts, design teams, contractors and wider project stakeholders on schemes that have a genuine impact on patients, clinicians and local communities.
This is not a generalist project management role. We are looking for people with solid construction project management experience, ideally gained across healthcare, life sciences, laboratories, acute hospitals, clinical environments or other technically complex building projects. Experience taking schemes from pre-construction through to completion would be highly relevant.
The role would suit an ambitious Project Manager or Senior Project Manager who wants to build a long-term career in one of the strongest and most active sectors in the UK built environment. You will be supported with structured career development, chartership support where relevant, and access to some of the most significant healthcare construction projects in the market.
We are particularly interested in speaking with people who have:
- Construction project management experience within consultancy, client-side, contractor or public-sector environments
- Healthcare, life sciences, laboratory, clinical, education, defence, custodial, pharmaceutical or other technically demanding building experience
- Experience supporting or leading projects through pre-construction, procurement, construction and handover
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including working with clients, design teams, contractors and end users
- A genuine interest in developing a career within healthcare infrastructure
This is a strong opportunity for someone who wants more than just another project management role. The schemes are meaningful, technically challenging and highly visible, giving you the chance to look back and be proud of the work you have helped deliver.
For a confidential conversation, please get in touch to discuss the role, the team and the wider opportunity in more detail.
