Permanent | Full-Time
A well-established and rapidly growing construction consultancy is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to strengthen its Cost Management team in the North West.
Having experienced significant growth across the region over the past three years, the business is now looking to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor to support the delivery of major projects and play a key role within an expanding regional team.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Regional Cost Director and wider Cost Management leadership team, delivering a range of projects across multiple sectors, including public sector and blue light schemes. You will be involved in projects with a combined value of approximately £300m, working within a strong portfolio that continues to drive the consultancy's regional growth.
This is an excellent opportunity for an established Senior Quantity Surveyor looking to take ownership of significant projects, build long-term client relationships, and contribute to the success of a growing consultancy. Experience working within the public sector, particularly with blue light organisations, would be highly advantageous.
Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver cost management services across major projects within both private and public sectors, providing accurate and timely commercial advice.
  • Manage client relationships and act as a trusted commercial advisor throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Prepare and review cost plans, estimates, tender documentation, procurement reports, and cost reports.
  • Monitor project budgets, forecasts, and risk registers, identifying opportunities to maximise value and minimise risk.
  • Administer and advise on NEC and JCT forms of contract, providing practical commercial guidance to clients and project teams.
  • Support the development of junior team members through mentoring and knowledge sharing.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal processes, standards, and project delivery methodologies.
  • Assist with business development activities and support the maintenance and growth of key client relationships.

What's on Offer
  • Exposure to complex, high-profile projects across a diverse range of sectors.
  • Opportunity to work on significant public sector and emergency services developments.
  • Clear progression opportunities within a growing and ambitious consultancy.
  • A collaborative and supportive working environment with access to experienced leadership.
  • Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.
