Our client is a dynamic and ambitious construction and property consultancy that’s built a strong reputation for excellence. Known for their hands-on, client-first approach, they combine technical expertise with a deep commitment to quality, sustainability, health & safety, and social value – delivering impact across every project and relationship.
As the business continues to grow, they’re now looking to appoint a Director of Project Management to lead their London office and play a central role in expanding their Southern region operations. This is a strategic hire that offers the opportunity to lead from the front, grow and shape a high-performing team, and be instrumental in the wider growth and direction of the business.

Construction Management is a key area of focus, and they’re looking for someone with experience in this space who is truly passionate about it. You’ll be expected to champion CM as a modern, client-focused delivery model and help position it as a core service offering moving forward.
What you’ll be doing:
- Leading and growing the Project Management function in London and the South East
- Taking full responsibility for divisional P&L and performance
- Overseeing end-to-end project delivery – from strategy and planning through to aftercare
- Developing and nurturing key client relationships
- Driving business development and new opportunities
- Championing and expanding the Construction Management offering
- Collaborating with fellow Directors to shape and deliver company-wide strategic objectives
- Leading, mentoring, and developing a growing team
- Playing an active role in recruitment, retention, and building a culture of excellence
What we’re looking for
We’re seeking someone entrepreneurial, driven, and influential – a natural leader with both the technical expertise and commercial acumen to grow a business. You’ll bring strategic thinking, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for delivering real value to clients.
Key requirements:
- Chartered status (MRICS, MAPM, MCIOB or similar)
- A proven track record of delivering complex residential and commercial projects
- Strong experience in Construction Management, with the vision and passion to expand this offering
- Expertise across all aspects of project delivery – strategy, pre-construction, design, procurement, delivery and aftercare
- Confident in stakeholder engagement, client interface and team leadership
- Commercially astute, with strong financial management skills and data-driven decision making
- Excellent communicator who can engage, influence and inspire at all levels
- Sound understanding of contracts, procurement and risk management
