The opportunity We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Assistant Building Surveyor to join our client’s expanding team in London. This role will involve delivering new and existing projects, contributing to key client development, and actively learning from experienced team members. The Equity Partner overseeing the London office for all disciplines is a Building Surveyor, and they are personally dedicated to seeing the Building Surveying business flourish. Responsibilities; Assist in the delivery of Building Surveying services, with a focus on project work. Contribute to projects by collaborating with our client’s in-house multi-disciplinary design services. Support senior team members with client management and business development initiatives. Develop technical Building Surveying knowledge and skills under the guidance of experienced professionals. Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders. The candidate We’re looking for a driven and enthusiastic individual who is eager to learn and grow within a supportive team environment. As an Assistant Building Surveyor, you should have a strong foundation in Building Surveying principles and a passion for delivering high-quality work. Requirements; A degree in Building Surveying or related discipline. 6 months to 1 year of experience as a Building Surveyor. Strong analytical, written, and oral communication skills to produce clear and concise reports and recommendations. A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn from senior team members.
