We have an opportunity for a candidate to join our longstanding Clients Linehaul Operations team on a temporary basis. The role is responsible for supporting daily operational activities, driver coordination, fleet management, and communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Contract: Temporary 6 months
Hours: Monday to Friday, 10:00 - 18:00
Review: Following the six-month period, the role will be reviewed and may be advertised as a full-time position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assigning drivers and vehicles to scheduled linehaul runs and ad-hoc extra movements
- Printing scan sheets, run plans, and driver instructions (including agency drivers)
- Reporting and logging tyre defects on trucks and trailers
- Requesting agency cover for holidays, sickness, and additional collections
- Producing and managing the daily VOR report and overseeing fleet maintenance activity
- Liaising with the fleet maintenance team and third-party providers for servicing and repairs
- Downloading vehicles and updating system records
