Transport Controller
At Temp Station, we are excited to expand our Transport Team with a strong emphasis on fleet management, transport operations. We are seeking a motivated individual to manage fleet performance, compliance, and national logistics. With a strong presence across the UK, including our Head Office in West Yorkshire, operations in Lancashire, and sites in Tamworth and Essex. This role offers the unique opportunity to work dynamically across our national network.

Key Responsibilities:
Planning & Resource Coordination
- Plan and coordinate drivers on regular work and ad-hoc loads.
- Manage and coordinate our own dedicated fleet alongside our national subcontractor network.
- Work closely with our other operating sites to maximise and utilise all available resources.
- Actively monitor fleet availability and resource utilisation.
Fleet, Maintenance & Compliance
- Oversee vehicle maintenance coordination to ensure the highest standards.
- Conduct national fleet checks to ensure all vehicles remain fully compliant and roadworthy.
- Develop a strong understanding of transport compliance and driver legislation.
- Handle the downloading and uploading of truck data, alongside day-to-day AdBlue management.

Driver & Relationship Management
- Oversee driver management and communication, working closely with drivers to resolve operational issues.
- Partner closely with our internal recruitment team to ensure all driver requirements are met.
