Temp Station are currently recruiting class 1 container drivers on days for our client based in Liverpool (L19). Our client is a national logistics company with many sites across the UK. The successful candidates will be required to use a skeleton trailer to collect containers and deliver them to customers, making 1 to 3 deliveries a day, which may also include trailer swaps. Drivers with 6 months previous container experience are preferred but not essential. Training packages can be provided for the right candidates. All candidates must undergo an induction and assessment on site prior to working.
Working times are Monday to Friday Days with start times typically between 06:00am and 08:00am, on an ongoing basis.
Job Role:
- Consistently exceed client expectations.
- Meet the clients operational standards.
- Collect and drop boxes safely and securely.
- Follow the clients policies and procedures.
- Adhere to driver rules and regulations.
- Complete the relevant paperwork.
- Comply with security regulations.
- Ensure uniforms are clean and neat.
- Keep Vehicles used in a clean and tidy condition.
- Carry out any other relevant duties required by the line manager at the depot to ensure effective performance.
Candidates must have good communication skills.
Driver requirements:
- Must have a Category C+E Licence.
- 6 months class 1 containers experience preferred.
