Temp Station are excited to announce we are looking for another member of staff to join our team in Normanton (WF6) as a Logistics Controller This office is a relaxed working environment involving filling client bookings on the spot as well as logistical planning ahead, along with driver recruitment As with any company within the transport / recruitment sector, there are peaks of slow / busy volumes so the ideal candidate would be able to adapt to this The right candidate would be a driven individual looking to start a long-term career in a company that offers great opportunities to progress within the business Job role duties include but are not limited to; Transport Experience / CPC preferred but not essential Planning drivers on regular work and ad hoc loads Working closely with our other operating sites to ensure we maximise / utilise all resources Working your own fleet as well as our national subcontractor network Building and Maintaining client relationships
internally and externally Customer / Service focussed Willingness to be part of a team and learn all aspects of the business Good Knowledge of Driver Legislation would be advantageous however not essential Strong administrational skills Shared responsibility for on call phone once established within the team and the candidate has a good working knowledge of operations Excellent training / development packages offered Temp Station also operate our own transport yard in the Castleford area as well as operations running from Tamworth & Essex, due to this there may also be opportunities for the below duties; Face to Face Driver Management Fleet Checks & Maintenance Downloading / Uploading of trucks Adblue Management Office Hours
