Temp Station is a logistics labour provider across the UK. Due to client growth, we have a number of class 1 vacancies to work on early mornings for one of our National Blue Chip clients running out of Atherstone (CV9). The driver would be based on our customer's site as a spare driver to be used to move additional freight, with an average of around 1 to 4 trailer swaps. There is no manual handling involved. Please note, this position would be Tuesday to Saturday each week with a 01:30am start.
Key Responsibilities:
- The role will involve trunk runs/trailer swaps at set hubs nationwide.
- Ensure the company's Health and Safety policy is adhered to.
- Communicate with the transport office.
- Complete all paperwork in an orderly manner.
- Work to all WTD rules.
Start dates are various over the next few weeks. This role is agency work; however, it is an ongoing position.
Skills and Experience:
- Full C+E license, Digi Card, and full CPC required.
- 1 year of experience required for insurance purposes.
- Good communication skills required.
- No DD, DR, INs and no more than 6 points on your license.
We can also offer Temp Station drivers uniform and in-house CPC training at a reduced cost.
PAY RATES:
PAYE - £18.50 - £20.73 (PAYE drivers only).
