Temp All Staffing Ltd are currently recruiting for a Chef de Partie / Sous Chef on behalf of our client, a luxury wedding venue based in Thorpe le Soken. The successful candidate will have a genuine passion for fresh food and proven event catering experience.

Job Role:
- Preparation and production of high-quality foods
- Play a crucial part in the operation of events
- Assisting Head Chef with ordering, stock rotation and menu creation
- Supervising and mentoring team members
- Leading and inspiring the team
- Training new kitchen employees on the restaurant’s standards and regulations
- Ensuring the highest level of food hygiene in the kitchen
- Ensure health and safety legislation is complied with in the kitchen areas
- In-depth knowledge of the kitchen’s routines and utensils
Your Skills and Experience:
- Driving license and access to your own vehicle
- At least 2-3 years event catering experience preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation methods and presentation
- Full understanding and proven experience of H+S and EHO requirements
- Standards driven, with a focus on quality and attention to detail
- Strong leadership skills
- Experience of liaising with suppliers and ordering
- Strong organisational and administrative kitchen management skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and to specific time frames
