Senior Product Director / Product Lead responsible for driving product initiatives across our Wealth Management suite, which includes Securities Processing, Order Management Systems (OMS), Portfolio Management, and Digital & Market Data solutions. The role owns product vision, roadmap, and delivery for critical investment workflows serving asset managers, wealth managers, broker‑dealers, financial advisors, and self‑service clients.
Job Responsibilities
- Define and articulate the product vision, establishing a multi‑year strategy across all Wealth Management products.
- Translate business goals, regulatory requirements, and client needs into a clear, prioritized product roadmap.
- Conduct ongoing market research, user discovery calls, customer surveys, and synthesize feedback to inform competitive differentiation.
- Lead product positioning for institutional and wealth management segments, from Ultra‑High Net Worth to Mass Affluent.
- Own the design and evolution of key functional areas, including securities lifecycle management, order capture, routing, compliance controls, portfolio construction, rebalancing, performance measurement, and advisory workflows.
- Integrate third‑party solutions to expand the wealth ecosystem (CRM, Lombard Lending, Compliance, etc.) while ensuring alignment with regulatory frameworks such as SEC, FINRA, MiFIDII, best execution, and trade surveillance.
- Manage the product backlog and prioritization in collaboration with Engineering, Design, Compliance, Operations, and Sales teams.
- Define detailed product requirements, including PRDs, user stories, workflows, and API specifications.
- Lead cross‑functional execution across Engineering, Design, Compliance, Operations, and Sales.
- Oversee the end‑to‑end product lifecycle from discovery through launch and iterative improvement, balancing speed, scalability, compliance, and technical debt.
- Assume responsibility for the product line’s P&L and commercial outcomes.
- Engage directly with institutional clients, advisors, and operations teams to gather feedback and validate product solutions.
- Support sales and pre‑sales teams with strategic client discussions and translate complex client workflows into scalable product capabilities.
- Act as a subject matter expert, mentoring and managing product managers.
- Represent Wealth Management products in executive‑level discussions.
Job Qualifications
- At least 15 years of product management experience.
- Strong background in Wealth Management, Asset Management, Capital Markets, or Broker‑Dealer environments, covering HNW and Mass Affluent segments.
- Deep understanding of securities trading lifecycle, advisory and discretionary portfolio management, OMS, portfolio accounting, rebalancing, market data, FIX protocol, and API‑based trading integrations.
- Experience with regulated financial systems and SaaS‑based requirements.
- Proven ability to manage complex, high‑scale, transaction‑heavy platforms.
- Strong stakeholder management skills across engineering, compliance, and commercial teams.
- Experience building institutional‑grade fintech platforms and multi‑asset trading platforms.
- Background in quantitative finance, trading, or investment operations.
- Familiarity with the Scaled Agile Framework.
