We are seeking a Marketing Manager with 3+ years’ experience in the events industry, ideally within consumer events or festivals. This is a hands‑on role combining strategic planning with campaign delivery, suited to someone confident managing both people and performance. You will be responsible for managing and delivering B2C marketing campaigns for 2 to 4 clients at any given time, supported by Marketing Executives and Assistants. The role requires strong stakeholder management skills, the ability to plan and oversee campaign activity, and confidence in hands on execution across key marketing channels.
Campaign Management & Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, delivery, and optimisation of B2C marketing campaigns for live events.
- Manage multiple client accounts simultaneously, acting as the primary point of contact.
- Develop and execute campaign strategies focused on audience growth, engagement, and ticket sales.
- Oversee the hands on delivery of campaign assets, including website updates, email copywriting and automation, and social media planning and execution.
- Manage sponsor, exhibitor, and media partner marketing activity to ensure alignment with overall campaign objectives.
- Monitor campaign performance, analyse results, and deliver clear reporting with actionable recommendations.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure campaigns are delivered on time and to a high standard.
- Line manage and support Marketing Executives or Assistants, supporting their development and performance.
Skills, Experience & Ideal Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience delivering B2C marketing campaigns within the events industry.
- Strong knowledge of event marketing, digital marketing, and audience engagement strategies.
- Proven experience delivering social media and email marketing campaigns for consumer audiences.
- Confident managing stakeholders at all levels, including clients, partners, and internal teams.
- Highly organised, solution focused, and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, guide, and support team members.
- Previous line management experience is beneficial but not essential.
- Proven experience delivering successful marketing campaigns for live events, conferences, exhibitions, or consumer focused experiences.
- Comfortable working directly with clients and building long term relationships.
- Confident using data and insights to inform decisions and continuously improve campaign performance.
- Thrives in a collaborative, fast paced agency environment while taking ownership of outcomes.
Working Pattern
Hybrid - option to work remotely up to 2 days per week.
Location: The China Works, SE1 7SJ – approximately 10 minutes walk from Vauxhall train and underground station, or 20‑minute walk from Waterloo train and underground station.
