We are looking for an experienced Marketing Manager with a background in B2B event marketing to join our growing team. This is a hands-on role combining strategic thinking with campaign delivery, ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with clients and delivering impactful marketing campaigns.
The Role
As a Marketing Manager you will manage and deliver marketing campaigns for B2B exhibitions and conferences, working with event organisers to grow visitor and delegate audiences while supporting exhibitor and sponsor value. You will typically manage two to four client accounts, supported by Marketing Executives or Assistants, and will act as the primary point of contact for clients while overseeing campaign performance and delivery. This role suits someone who enjoys balancing strategy, execution and team leadership within a fast-paced agency environment.
Campaign Management & Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, delivery and optimisation of B2B marketing campaigns for exhibitions, conferences and awards.
- Manage multiple client accounts simultaneously, acting as the primary point of contact.
- Develop and execute campaign strategies focused on audience growth, engagement and visitor, delegate or entry acquisition.
- Oversee the hands-on delivery of campaign assets, including website updates, email copywriting and automation, and social media planning and execution.
- Manage sponsor, exhibitor and media partner marketing activity to ensure alignment with overall campaign objectives.
- Monitor campaign performance, analyse results and deliver clear reporting with actionable recommendations.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure campaigns are delivered on time and to a high standard.
- Line manage and support Marketing Executives or Assistants, supporting their development and performance.
Skills, Experience & Ideal Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience delivering B2B marketing campaigns within the events industry.
- Strong knowledge of event marketing, digital marketing and audience acquisition strategies.
- Proven experience delivering social media and email marketing campaigns for professional or industry audiences.
- Confident managing stakeholders at all levels, including clients, partners and internal teams.
- Highly organised, solution-focused and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, guide and support team members.
- Previous line management experience is beneficial but not essential.
- Proven experience delivering successful marketing campaigns for B2B exhibitions, conferences, awards or industry events.
- Comfortable working directly with clients and building long-term relationships.
- Confident using data and insights to inform decisions and continuously improve campaign performance.
- Thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced agency environment while taking ownership of outcomes.
Working Pattern
Hybrid working with the option to work remotely up to two days per week.
