TEMBO IMPACT is a specialist marketing agency that works with event organisers to support them across a wide range of marketing activities and initiatives. We are looking for an experienced Event Marketer to join our growing team in the full-time role.
The Role: We are seeking a Marketing Manager with 3+ years’ experience working in the events (conference and exhibition) or publishing sectors to join our quickly expanding agency team, TEMBO IMPACT. The role primarily entails managing and delivering marketing campaigns for 2-4 clients at any time, with the support of our team's Marketing Executives and Assistants. Key skills include managing stakeholders of all levels and planning and managing campaign activity. You will also need to have strong skills in hands-on delivery of campaign assets, including website management, email copywriting and automation, social media calendar planning and execution, sponsor and partner management, etc. The role will also include managing a Marketing Executive or Assistant. The scope of management responsibility will increase as the TEMBO IMPACT team grows further. Training and support will be provided for this, meaning that while prior management experience is a benefit, it is not a requirement for a successful application.
The successful candidate would be expected to come to the TEMBO office in Vauxhall, London, 3+ days per week, with working remotely an option for up to 2 days per week.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have strong experience in executing exhibition and/or conference marketing campaigns.
- Be skilled and knowledgeable in event and digital marketing, especially social media and email campaigns.
- Be solution-focused, able to multi-task and, importantly, build a good rapport with some fantastic clients.
- Demonstrate strong leadership and organisation skills to be able to manage yourself and others to get the best out of your team.
- Previous line management experience is a benefit but not a requirement.
