We’re looking for a proactive and detail‑oriented Marketing Assistant or Marketing Executive to support one of our client businesses on a 3‑month contract, with the potential to transition into a permanent role. This is a varied, hands‑on position where you’ll help deliver their marketing strategy, create engaging content, and support client‑facing communication.
You’ll work closely with the client’s Head of Marketing, gaining exposure to a broad range of marketing activities. Experience in events or the tech sector will be highly advantageous, as the client operates in a space where both are central to their brand and customer engagement.
- Executing the marketing plan — supporting day‑to‑day delivery, tracking progress, and adjusting activity based on performance insights and direction from the Head of Marketing.
- Creating content — producing short‑form and mid‑form content based on recent projects, client testimonials, and long‑form assets such as webinars.
- Repurposing long‑form content — turning webinars, case studies, and thought‑leadership pieces into digestible social posts, email snippets, and website updates.
- Supporting event‑related marketing — assisting with promotional activity around client events, webinars, and industry engagements (highly valuable if you have events experience).
- Supporting campaign reporting — helping gather data, track KPIs, and summarise performance for internal review.
- Working with digital platforms — supporting updates to website content, understanding backend workflows, and ensuring marketing materials align with UX best practices.
- Maintaining marketing systems — using ASP (training provided if needed) to manage campaigns, content, and client communications.
- Collaborating with internal teams — working with senior stakeholders and client‑facing teams to gather information and ensure marketing output reflects the brand.
Experience in email marketing, content creation, or digital marketing (agency or in‑house). Strong writing skills and the ability to adapt tone for different audiences. Experience in events or the tech sector is highly advantageous and will help you hit the ground running. Confidence working with marketing tools, website platforms, backend workflows, or UX. Exposure to a wide range of marketing activities — ideal for someone looking to grow quickly. Hybrid working with flexibility built in.
