Location - West London
Purpose of Role: You will support the Head of Marketing in the run-up to a high-profile, flagship event. You will be supporting with visitor and exhibitor marketing campaigns across digital channels, social media and email campaigns.
The ideal candidate will have previous event marketing experience, at least 1 year in the industry. You will need to be a highly organised, self-motivated, and efficient individual with a can-do attitude and excellent attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- You will manage marketing campaigns for an award-winning, hybrid event that will feature stage talks, live streams, interactive experiences, and more.
- Campaign Management & Coordination:
- Support tactical delivery of marketing campaigns for ticket sales and exhibitors
- Update event website with speakers, exhibitors, and content
- Manage organic social media (content creation & scheduling using Echo box) and coordinate with an external digital agency for SEO and paid campaigns
- Brief in-house and freelance designers on creative requirements (print ads, online assets, videos, etc.)
- Update e-newsletters with event ads
- Liaise with speakers and exhibitors to support promotional efforts
- Manage event listings across external platforms
- Execute visitor reminder campaigns
- Assist in marketing analysis using Google Analytics
- Create and deliver ticket sales reports to internal stakeholders
- Support sponsor and exhibitor account management and fulfil contractual deliverables
- Coordinate email communications to help exhibitors promote the event
The ideal candidate will have:
- Marketing degree or qualification; strong A-levels in English, Maths, or Science preferred
- Minimum 1 year of event marketing experience
- Strong experience in supporting end-to-end marketing campaign delivery
- Skilled at writing engaging copy for print and digital
- Experience briefing designers and managing social media campaigns
- Proficient in integrated marketing using email, social, direct mail, influencer marketing, and advertising
- Excellent project coordination and deadline management
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and a team player
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
