Associate, Investment (EMEA-Europe) (Based in London)

Temasek, a global investment company headquartered in Singapore, invites applications for the Associate, Investment role in its EMEA investment team, based in London. The role focuses on direct investment across attractive companies and sub‑sectors, contributing to the full investment lifecycle from sourcing to post‑investment monitoring.

Location: London, United Kingdom

Responsibilities

• Identify and assess investment opportunities across attractive companies and sub‑sectors.
• Conduct research, financial analysis, and due diligence on target companies.
• Participate in execution, monitoring, and value creation of portfolio company performance.
• Develop financial models and investment committee presentations.
• Establish and cultivate relationships with companies, corporate partners, research analysts, and other institutions.
• Monitor existing portfolio companies and new direct investments against investment theses and assist with value creation.

Requirements

• Strong academic qualifications with passion for investing.
• ~1‑2 years of experience in top‑tier private equity, management consulting, or investment banking.
• Strong analytical capabilities, modeling skills, and attention to detail.
• Self‑starter with ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
• High level of interpersonal, presentation, and written communication skills.
• Strong team skills and comfortable working in a cross‑border, multi‑cultural environment.
