Who We Are: We are rebuilding the energy transaction, making it transparent and fair. Our goal is to put power back where it belongs, in the hands of customers and to take on one of the most critical problems of our century, access to low cost electricity. tem exists to fix a broken global energy market that’s long favoured legacy operators, intermediaries, and opaque pricing. Today’s electricity system was not designed for rapid decarbonisation, AI-driven efficiency or fair access for the actual users - businesses and generators. We’ve built the first AI native transaction infrastructure to reinvent how electricity is bought, sold and priced. Our technology is designed to cut out the inefficient fees, automate complex market flows, and bring transparency and fairness to energy transactions at scale.

In late 2025, after extraordinary growth, we closed a $75 million Series B - led by Lightspeed Venture Partners with participation from Albion, Atomico, Allianz, Hitachi Ventures, Schroders Capital and others - positioning us for global expansion, deeper product innovation and category leadership. We’re scaling internationally and building toward a future where AI-driven infrastructure is foundational to electricity markets worldwide. Since launch, our modern utility product, known as RED, has already facilitated thousands of business customers and billions in energy transaction value, proving that modern software and AI can transform an industry built on legacy systems. At tem, we’re not just building another energy company, we’re rearchitecting market infrastructure so that transparency, efficiency and sustainability become the default, not the exception.

The Role: We're hiring a Brand, Content & Creative Operations Lead to join our Brand, Content & Creative (BCC) function. tem is rebuilding the energy transaction, making it transparent and fair. We're scaling fast, and our BCC function is shipping more, across more surfaces, than ever. We need someone to make the machine run cleanly at tempo, without quality drop. This is not a project manager for designers. It's an operator role at the intersection of brand, content, and creative execution. You'll turn priorities into shippable plans, manage how agencies and freelancers plug into the team, tighten briefing and approvals, spot bottlenecks before they become drama, and wire the cross-functional dependencies that make activations land on time. You'll be the person who makes it easier for the team to do their best work, and harder for the organisation to create avoidable chaos. The output is a creative engine that is sustainable, scalable, and compounding, so taste and ambition translate reliably into things that ship.

In your first 12 months, you might:

  • Stand up a briefing system that makes "good" the default first draft for the most common work types.
  • Build the external resourcing model so agencies and freelancers add leverage rather than coordination tax.
  • Run the production layer for a flagship activation end to end.
  • Cut measurable time out of the brief-to-ship cycle across BCC.
  • Introduce AI and automation into the workflow layer where it meaningfully increases throughput.

Responsibilities:

  • Set the operating rhythm: translate quarterly and monthly priorities into a clear plan covering what's shipping, when, and why, and run the weekly cadence that keeps it all moving.
  • Build the briefing system: design a smarter briefing process and reusable templates so "good" is the default first draft, with a clear DRI, decision owner, and review path on every piece of work.
  • Lead external resourcing: own onboarding, scopes, and quality control for every agency and freelancer relationship, and maintain a live capacity map across internal and external contributors.
  • Ship the moments: run the production layer for activations, events, shoots, partner moments, and high-visibility launches, and turn one-off projects into repeatable runbooks.
  • Unblock the system: map cross-functional dependencies early across Product, PMM, Commercial, CX, Legal, Data, and Web, surface the real blockers, and track decisions so we don't relitigate the same debates.
  • Compound the wins: improve the workflow layer through templates, dashboards, and tooling, using AI and automation to meaningfully increase throughput without compromising quality.

Requirements:

Must-Haves:
  • Proven experience running creative, brand, content, or marketing operations in a fast-moving environment.
  • High operational rigour. You can build systems, but you're not precious, and you optimise for shipping.
  • Strong judgement on when to tighten process and when to get out of the way.
  • Confident managing external partners across scopes, timelines, feedback loops, and quality control.
  • Excellent stakeholder management. You're calm, direct, and hard to derail.
  • Systems thinking. You naturally map dependencies, decision points, and failure modes.
Desirable:
  • Experience with multi-format production across video, events, web, and editorial.
  • Strong Notion fluency (databases, dashboards, templates) and comfort across the wider tooling stack.
  • Comfort using AI tools to accelerate drafting, coordination, and workflow automation.
  • Familiarity with high-stakes comms and approvals across reputation, partners, and founders.

Benefits & Perks:

  • Competitive salary.
  • Stock options so everyone has ownership in our mission.
  • 25 days holiday plus public holidays. Swap public holidays for the ones that matter most to you, and enjoy your birthday off.
  • Remote first and flexible working, with clear core hours and no internal meetings on Friday afternoons.
  • Up to £1,200 or €1,200 per year for your remote setup.
  • Up to £150 or €150 per month for wellbeing.

Interview Process:

  • First call with our Talent Team.
  • Behaviour Interview with the Hiring Manager.
  • Technical Interview with the Team (90 mins). You'll meet with potential peers in this session and will discuss a real operational scenario: how you'd stand up a briefing system, prioritise competing requests, and run an activation under pressure.
  • Culture-Add Interview with Stakeholders.

We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds, experiences, and identities, including those that are traditionally underrepresented in the tech and energy sectors. If you’re excited about this role but not sure you meet every requirement, we’d still love to hear from you. Your unique perspective could be exactly what we’re looking for.
