Who We Are: We have built the new way for energy to be transacted. tem exists to fix a creaking energy market. Today's wholesale system is stacked in favour of the few - a relic of the oil and gas era, riddled with markups and middlemen. We're changing that. Our product, RED™, is built on a proprietary pricing engine that bypasses the wholesale market, enabling businesses to buy energy produced by renewable generators directly. That means clear, auditable transactions that ensure affordable bills and fair compensation - giving every business real ownership and control over where their energy comes from. Since launching in 2021, we've saved UK businesses and generators over £25 million, powering a growing network of forward‑thinking companies, from Pizza Pilgrims to Silverstone. Backed by top‑tier VCs including Atomico and Albion, we're creating a new category in energy - one that's decentralised, direct, and built on trust.
The Role: We're hiring an AI‑First Growth Specialist. Your job is to identify systematic 10x opportunities across the full funnel and multiply team output without linear headcount growth by accelerating AI adoption, building automated workflows, and running rapid experiments across marketing, sales, and product. This role exists to find ways to use AI as a growth lever across our GTM function. You act as a utility player across all growth areas, identifying where AI and no‑code automation can multiply impact. You run experiments that prove what works, then build the systems that make it repeatable. You work across the full funnel: paid acquisition, organic growth, conversion optimisation, partner referral loops, and product‑led growth motions. You will own growth experimentation, AI workflow acceleration, and team output multiplication. You identify high‑leverage opportunities, rapidly test them, and build automated systems that build leverage into how our team ships and drives impact. You understand attribution models, referral infrastructure, and growth tooling, and utilise no‑code and AI tools to get it done. This is an execution‑first IC3 role, with strategic latitude to identify where to apply leverage. You don't manage people or own GTM strategy, but you have authority to propose experiments, challenge manual processes, and allocate your time to highest‑impact opportunities across any growth lever. You will report to Marketing leadership with the mandate to increase the team's output ceiling. Success is measured by team throughput multiplication, conversion efficiency gains, and evidence that the team are increasing throughput and impact because of what you’ve built.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and validate 10x opportunities through rapid experimentation.
- Run continuous full‑funnel experiments across paid acquisition, organic growth, conversion optimisation, partner referral loops, and product activation.
- Use data to identify bottlenecks, conversion leaks, and high‑leverage intervention points.
- Test and deploy AI‑powered approaches to content production, audience targeting, personalisation, and campaign optimisation.
- Prove what works through data, then systematise it into repeatable workflows.
- Maintain experiment backlog prioritised by potential impact, learning value, and speed to results.
- Accelerate AI adoption to multiply team output.
- Build AI‑powered workflows that scale team capabilities: content generation, research automation, audience segmentation, creative testing, landing page optimisation.
- Train and enable marketing, sales, and partnerships teams on AI tools and workflows that multiply their individual output.
- Demonstrate measurable efficiency gains from AI usage (5‑10x output increases, time saved, cost per acquisition reduction).
- Experiment with emerging AI tools and techniques, documenting what works and rolling out across teams.
- Build automated growth systems across the full funnel.
- Design and ship no‑code workflows using Clay, Make, Zapier, HubSpot that automate repetitive work across paid, organic, partner, and product‑led growth.
- Build lead routing, enrichment, scoring, and nurture automation that accelerates conversion without manual intervention.
- Create self‑serve enablement systems (partner portals, content libraries, ROI calculators) that reduce bespoke work requests.
- Implement attribution tracking and analytics dashboards that connect activity to revenue outcomes.
- Maintain reliability of growth infrastructure, troubleshooting and fixing when systems break.
- Multiply throughput across marketing, sales, and product.
- Act as utility player across teams, identifying where automation or AI can remove bottlenecks.
- Build reusable templates, workflows, and playbooks that increase velocity for Content, ABM, Product Marketing, Community, Partnerships, and Sales.
- Reduce time‑to‑launch for campaigns and enablement through systematised workflows.
- Ensure higher utilisation of existing assets through better systems and distribution.
- Drive conversion efficiency and throughput across existing demand.
- Optimise conversion rates across website, forms, email nurture, demo booking, and sales handoffs.
- Improve broker enablement and activation workflows to support growth targets.
- Enable enterprise scaling without proportional increase in marketing or sales effort through automation and better systems.
- Reduce friction in high‑intent prospect journeys through data‑driven optimisation.
Success measures:
- Team output multiplication: Evidence that marketing and sales are achieving more with same or less effort (measured through time‑to‑launch reduction, asset reuse, and team time allocation).
- Conversion efficiency improvement: opportunity creation, sales cycle velocity, conversion rate, and other full‑funnel conversion metrics.
- Experiment velocity and learning: Number of experiments run, completion rate, and documented learnings applied to ongoing work.
Operational indicators:
- AI workflow adoption across teams (percentage of team using AI tools, efficiency gains demonstrated).
- Automated workflow coverage (percentage of manual processes automated).
- Time‑to‑launch reduction for campaigns and enablement materials.
- Asset utilisation improvement (existing content being reused vs. recreated).
- Growth team time allocation shift (more time on strategic work, less on manual execution).
- Attribution model clarity and usage by leadership for decision‑making.
- System reliability and uptime for critical growth infrastructure.
Requirements:
- 5-7 years in full‑funnel growth roles across B2B SaaS or complex B2B environments, with proven track record identifying and scaling growth loops across acquisition, conversion, and referral.
- Rapid experimentation expertise: You've designed and run 50+ experiments across multiple growth levers. You can walk through your experiment backlog, prioritisation framework, success criteria, and learnings. You default to testing before building.
- AI‑native workflows with demonstrated ROI: You use LLMs daily and can show specific examples of 5‑10x efficiency gains through AI automation. You've trained others on AI workflows and can demonstrate measurable team output increases.
- No‑code automation mastery: You've shipped production systems using Clay, Make, Zapier, or similar. You understand APIs, webhooks, data transformations, and can build complex multi‑step workflows without engineering.
- Data and analytics proficiency: You can perform data queries (or get AI to do it) to analyse funnel performance, identify bottlenecks, and measure experiment results. You build dashboards and use data to inform prioritisation.
- HubSpot or similar MA platform expertise: You can audit existing setups, build complex workflows, implement scoring models, and optimise full lifecycle automation.
- Cross‑functional collaboration: You've worked across GTM functions. You can influence without authority, build consensus, and act as utility player across functions.
- Systems thinking with bias to action: You see patterns and build repeatable frameworks, but you ship fast and iterate rather than waiting for perfect. You're comfortable with ambiguity and changing priorities.
- Commercial accountability: You're measured on revenue outcomes (pipeline, conversion rates, deal velocity, MWh growth) not activity. You can connect your work to commercial results.
Bonus points:
- Experience working with engineering on attribution models, referral infrastructure, or growth product features.
- Built growth systems at companies scaling from to ÂŁ50M+ ARR.
- Track record of 10x team output improvements through AI and automation.
- Experience in partner‑led or ecosystem‑led growth environments.
- Experience in regulated or complex industries (energy, finance, healthcare) where category creation and education are critical.
- Technical background or engineering training (even if not current role).
- Portfolio of AI experiments, GitHub repo, or open source contributions demonstrating technical marketing work.
- Active in growth communities (Reforge, Growth Hackers, etc.) with demonstrated thought leadership.
- Framer, Webflow, or similar no‑code website building proficiency.
Benefits & Perks:
- Salary aligned to internal benchmarks and reviewed twice a year.
- Stock options so everyone has ownership in our mission.
- 25 days holiday plus public holidays.
- Swap public holidays for the ones that matter most to you, and enjoy your birthday off.
- Remote first and flexible working, with clear core hours and no internal meetings on Friday afternoons.
- Home working and wellbeing budgets: Up to £1,200 or €1,200 per year for your remote setup. Up to £150 or €150 per month for wellbeing.
We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds, experiences, and identities, including those that are traditionally underrepresented in the tech and energy sectors. If you’re excited about this role but not sure you meet every requirement, we’d still love to hear from you. Your unique perspective could be exactly what we’re looking for.
